Hi! I’m Nora.

I started Mossy Hollow to share the beautiful forest we live in and my love of nature with children.

Although my background is in creative writing and adult education, I grew interested in early childhood education after becoming a mother. My family moved to Damascus in 2022 and I quickly realized this place was special. When I discovered nature-based education and forest school, a new passion was born that elegantly combined two things I love.

I earned a Level 1 Nature-Based Educator Certification from the Association for Nature-Based Education and got licensed as a Family Childcare Home. As an educator, I participate in continuous professional development through Penn State Better Kid Care and am pursuing a Childhood Development Associate Credential.

My dream is to see Mossy Hollow grow and offer more programs for children of all ages.
